SNAP & EBT at the market
We want every North Tulsa family to be able to shop the market. Here's what to know.
For shoppers
- SNAP/EBT is accepted at participating vendors only. Look for the SNAP badge on a vendor's booth or in our directory.
- Eligible items generally include fruits, vegetables, meat, dairy, eggs, breads and food-producing plants and seeds.
- Hot, ready-to-eat foods are generally not SNAP eligible under federal rules.
- Bring your EBT card and photo ID. Ask any market staff member if you need help finding participating vendors.
SNAP eligibility and acceptance are governed by USDA Food and Nutrition Service rules and each vendor's own authorization status.
For vendors
- Vendors apply for SNAP authorization directly through the USDA FNS retailer application; the market does not authorize vendors.
- Tell us your SNAP status on your vendor application — authorized, pending, interested, or not applicable.
- Once we verify your authorization, we mark your booth and directory listing with a SNAP badge so shoppers can find you.
